الأجانب ذوو الإقامة بوديعة هم الأجانب القادمون للاستثمار فى مصر، والذين يقومون بإيداع وديعة نقدية فى أحد البنوك المصرى لا تقل قيمتها عن سبعة ملايين جنيه مصرى، أو ما يعادلها بالعملة الأجنبية التى يحددها قرار من رئيس مجلس الوزراء.
ويصدر بتحديد ضوابط المرخص لهم بالإقامة ومدتها، وقيمة الوديعة وتنظيم إيداعها واستردادها، والبنوك التى يتم الإيداع بها، ومجالات الاستثمار قرار من وزير الداخلية بعد موافقة مجلس الوزراء.
