Search Egypt's laws article by article, with their versions and amendments

FahmQanon has a library of Egyptian laws in which every law is read article by article, with its earlier versions, its amendments and the source of each text, searchable in Arabic by article number, law number or words. Today 339 laws with 21,018 articles are open to firms. Official sources come first, the Official Gazette and Al-Waqa'i al-Misriyya, and you can read the text in force on any date you choose.

Clear limits

  • The library does not yet hold every law in force in Egypt: laws are added one by one, and you can ask for one you need.
  • Every law is reviewed before firms can read it; a law still being checked is not shown to them.
  • When two sources differ, the official one is used.
