For law firms and legal departments · starting with Egypt

A legal assistant that works inside your firm's cases, and checks every article it cites.

Your cases and their documents, your country's laws article by article, and what your firm learned from past cases, in one place. Egypt's laws are available first; more countries are added the same way.

CivilRescission of a supply contract, with damagesVisible to the case team
The supplier is more than 60 days late on delivery. Can our client ask for rescission?

Yes. Rescission with damages can be sought after formal notice to the supplier, since the contract has no express termination clause.

How an answer is made

Three sources, one assistant, one check, then the lawyer.

Your country's law libraryEvery law article by article, with past versions, amendments and the source of each text. We keep it and update it.
The case fileContracts, pleadings, judgments and letters, scans and phone photos included.
Your firm's experienceYour closed cases and how they ended, seen only by people allowed to open them.
The assistant writes the answerIn formal legal Arabic or in English, looking up the article, the file and similar cases on its own.
The citation checkEvery article is matched against its text in the library, in the version in force on the date that matters. Anything unconfirmed shows as "not verified", with the reason.
The lawyerReviews, edits and decides, and stays responsible for everything used.
What your firm gets

Research, cases, drafting and deadlines, in one piece of work.

Cases, not scattered chatsEach case has its parties, court, documents and team, and many chats inside it.
A law library per countryAll laws in force, article by article, with amendments and sources. Egypt first.
Checked citationsGreen when the library confirms the text, amber with the reason when it does not.
Similar firm casesYour closed cases closest to this one, how they ended, and what decided them.
Drafting from your templatesStatements of claim, memos, notices and contract reviews, filled from the case file. Word and PDF.
Deadlines and hearingsRules written with lawyers in each country, dates worked out with official holidays, reminders sent.
Conflict checkA new case's parties are compared with every party in your firm's cases before it is saved.
A general law chatAsk anything about your country's law without opening a case, with the same citations and the same check.
Confidentiality

Built for a lawyer's duty of confidentiality.

Every case has a team and a lead, and nobody sees what they are not allowed to, inside the firm or outside it.

Who sees a caseThe case team and partners, the whole firm, or confidential to the team alone.
Walls for conflicts of interestA walled-off lawyer never meets the case in any list, search or chat.
Nothing leaves the firmNo public links. What goes to a client is exported to Word or PDF.
A log of every open and exportVisible to the firm admin, including shares, walls and role changes.
Our team does not see your casesUnless you grant time-limited access to one case, and that is logged.
No training on your dataYour firm's data is never used to train AI.
Your data stays yoursExport all of it, or have it deleted, on request.

Questions

Does the assistant give legal advice to the public?

No. It is a tool for lawyers and their firms that supports research and drafting; the lawyer is responsible for everything they use.

Where do the texts of the laws come from?

From each country's official sources first; in Egypt, the Official Gazette and Al-Waqa'i al-Misriyya. Every text shows its source and the date it was fetched.

Can FahmQanon's team see our cases?

No. Our team cannot see case files or chats unless you grant time-limited access to one case, and that is written to your firm's log.

What if the assistant cites an article that does not exist?

The citation shows as "not verified" with the reason. Nothing unchecked is ever shown as verified.

Is there a free plan?

No. We give you a live demo before you subscribe, on sample cases under your country's laws.

Do you support countries other than Egypt?

We start with Egypt and add countries one by one in the same way: every law in force, article by article, each reviewed before it goes live. Ask for your country on the Laws page and we will tell you when it is available.

Which languages does it work in?

The website and the app are in Arabic and English, and the assistant answers in the language of your question. More languages later.
