The Supreme Constitutional Court struck down this article in whole or part (case 2 of judicial year 16, hearing of 1996-02-03): that part is not law
يكون انتخاب أعضاء المجالس الشعبية المحلية على اختلاف مستوياتها عن طريق الانتخاب المباشر السرى العام".
ويحدد لكل مرشح رمز يصدر به قرار من المحافظ.
وعلى الناخب أن يبدى رأيه باختيار العدد المطلوب انتخابه، وتعتبر باطلة جميع الأصوات المعلقة على شرط، أو التى تعطى لأكثر من العدد المطلوب، أو أقل من نصف هذا العدد، أو إذا أثبت الناخب رأيه على بطاقة غير التى سلمها إليه رئيس اللجنة، أو على ورقة عليها توقيع الناخب أو أى إشارة أو علامة أخرى تدل عليه.
