Article 72 of the Armed Forces Officers Service and Promotion Law

لا يحق للضابط أن يختار السلاح أو الوحدة التى يخدم
بها و إنما يتم تعيينه حسب دواعى الخدمة ومع ذلك يجوز للضابط لأسباب
قوية أن يقدم طلبا كتابيا بنقله من وحدته إلى وحدة أخرى يكون لائقا طبيا
للخدمة بها .
