يجب إخطار المجلس فور القبض على أى شخص ذى إعاقة ، وعلى الجهات المختصة والمجلس توفير كافة وسائل المساعدة الصحية والاجتماعية والمساعدة الفنية والمتخصصة والقانونية ، ومنها الإخصائي النفسى ومحام ، وإذا ما تطلب الأمر توفير طبيب مختص فيتم ندبه .
