Article 6 of the Central Depository and Registry of Securities Law

لا يجوز أن يكون مالكا مسجلا إلا بنوك الإيداع والجهات التى تمارس
أنشطة أمناء الحفظ أو إدارة محافظ الأوراق المالية أو أى نشاط آخر يصدر به قرار من الوزير
المختص بعد أخذ رأى الهيئة.
ويقصد ببنوك الإيداع البنوك التى تصدر شهادات إيداع يتم قيدها وتداولها
فى بورصات الأوراق المالية المحلية أو الدولية فى مقابل ملكيتها ملكية مسجلة
لأوراق مالية.
وعلى كل مالك مسجل أن يقيد اسمه وبياناته فى سجل تعده الهيئة لهذا الغرض،
ويحدد مجلس إدارة الهيئة قواعد وإجراءات القيد فيه.
