يمتد الاختصاص بمباشرة إجراءات الاستدلال والتحقيق والمحاكمة فى الحالات
المنصوص عليها فى المادة (٢٠) من هذا القانون إلى السلطات المصرية المختصة .
وفى حالة ارتكاب جريمة تهريب المهاجرين بواسطة السفن تتخذ السلطات المصرية المعنية
الإجراءات المناسبة سواء بالبحر الإقليمى أو المنطقة المجاورة أو غيرها وفقا لأحكام القانون
الدولى للبحار.
