Article 264 of the Maritime Trade Law

إذا أقيمت دعوى التعويض على أحد وكلاء
الناقل أو على أحد تابعيه جاز لمن أقيمت عليه الدعوى التمسك
بالدفوع التي يكون للناقل الاحتجاج بها وبأحكام المسئولية
وانقضاء الدعوى بمضي المدة إذا أثبت الوكيل أو التابع أن
الفعل المنسوب إليه صدر في حالة تأدية وظيفته أو بسببها.
