تتحمل الجهة المختصة بصرف تعويض الأجر مصاريف انتقال المريض بوسائل الانتقال العادية من محل الإقامة إلى مكان العلاج إذا كان يقع خارج المدينة التي يقيم بها وبوسائل الانتقال الخاصة متى قرر الطبيب المعالج أن حالة المريض الصحية لا تسمح باستعماله وسائل الانتقال العادية .
وتتبع في تنظيم الانتقال ومصاريفه القواعد التي يصدر بها قرار من وزير التأمينات بناء على اقتراح مجلس الإدارة .
