على المرخص له عند تغيير محل إقامته إخطار قسم المرور المختص خلال ثلاثين يوما من اليوم التالي للتغيير بكتاب موصى عليه ، فإذا كان التغيير إلى محافظة أخرى وجب عليه خلال المدة المذكورة أن يقدم إلى قسم المرور بهذه المحافظة طلبا لنقل قيد الرخصة واستيفاء إجراءات نقل القيد التي يحددها وزير الداخلية بقرار منه .
ويترتب على عدم مراعاة الميعاد في الحالة الثانية اعتبار الرخصة ملغاة .
