وتلغى وظيفة العمدة من أية قرية بها نقطة شرطة .
ولمدير الأمن بالمحافظة - لاعتبارات تتعلق بالأمن - أن يحيل بصفة مؤقتة أعمال وظيفة عمدة قرية إلى أحد رجال الشرطة (٢) .
