تبدأ السنة المالية للمعهد فى أول سبتمبر وتنتهى فى آخر أغسطس من العام التالى، ويقدم الحساب الختامى للمعهد إلى وزارة التعليم العالى فى موعد أقصاه 15 سبتمبر من كل عام وإذا جاوزت الميزانية ثلاثة آلاف جنيه وجب اعتماد الحساب الختامى من أحد المحاسبين القانونيين يختار مجلس الإدارة ويحدد أتعابه.
