يجوز لوزارة التعليم العالى أو المجالس المحلية أن تمنح المعهد إعانة مالية ويصدر بتنظيم الإعانات وشروط منحها قرار من وزير التعليم العالى بالاتفاق مع وزير الخزانة. ولا يجوز للمعاهد أن تقبل إعانات أخرى إلا بعد الحصول على موافقة وزير التعليم العالى.
