لوزير الخارجية أن يوقف العضو عن عمله إذا اقتضت مصلحة التحقيق ذلك على ألا تزيد مدة الوقف على ثلاثة أشهر إلا بقرار من مجلس التأديب .
ولا يترتب على وقف العضو وقف مرتبه ورواتبه الإضافية وما يمنح له من مبالغ أخرى مالم يقرر مجلس التأديب غير ذلك .
