فى تطبيق أحكام هذا القانون يقصد :
بالوزارة : وزارة الخارجية .
بالمجلس : مجلس السلك الدبلوماسى والقنصلى .
بالسلك : السلك الدبلوماسى والقنصلى .
بالمرتب : المرتب الأساسى المنصوص عليه فى الجدول المرافق لهذا القانون .
بالرواتب الإضافية : البدلات والتعويضات والإعانات وأية مبالغ أخرى تستحق مع المرتب الأساسى بصفة دورية .
