تنشأ بعثات التمثيل الدبلوماسى والقنصلى وتلغى بقرار من رئيس الجمهورية بناء على اقتراح وزير الخارجية وتشمل هذه البعثات :
١ السفارات .
٢ البعثات الدائمة لجمهورية مصر العربية لدى الأمم المتحدة ووكالاتها المتخصصة وغيرها من المنظمات الدولية والإقليمية .
٣ القنصليات العامة .
٤ القنصليات .
