على السفن التى تحمل جنسية جمهورية مصر العربية أن تحصل من مصلحة
الموانى والمنائر على الشهادة الدولية لمنع التلوث بالزيت أو الشهادة الدولية لمنع
التلوث الناتج عن حمل مواد سائلة ضارة سائبة . ويكون إصدار هاتين الشهادتين طبقا
للأحكام والشروط المنصوص عليها فى الاتفاقية ، ولا تزيد مدة صلاحية الشهادة على
خمس سنوات من تاريخ إصدارها .
