يحق للممول أن يختار طريقة التمتع بالحافز, إما بالخصم مباشرة من رصيد الضرائب واجبة الأداء أو مقابل التأخير أو المبالغ الإضافية الأخرى المستحقة عليه, إما بالإضافة على ما يقوم بأدائه من الضرائب التى لم تصبح واجبة الأداء بعد.
