لا تكتسب الأجنبية التى تتزوج من مصرى جنسيته بالزواج إلا إذا أعلنت وزير الداخلية برغبتها فى ذلك ولم تنته الزوجية قبل انقضاء سنتين من تاريخ الإعلان لغير وفاة الزوج ، ويجوز لوزير الداخلية بقرار مسبب قبل فوات مدة السنتين حرمان الزوجة من اكتساب الجنسية المصرية .
