إذا أمضى العقيد تام التأهيل مدة ست سنوات خدمة
فى رتبته دون أن يرق أو حل دوره فى الترقية ولم يشمله الإختيار ، أو بلغ
سن معاش رتبته قبل ذلك يحال إلى المعاش برتبة عميد بقوة القانون .
ويجوز للجنة الضباط المختصة نقله لكشف الضباط فئة (ب) برتبته
الأصلية إذا رغب الضابط فى ذلك .
و إذا أمضى العقيد غير الموصى بترقيته مدة ست سنوات خدمة
فى رتبته دون أن يرق أو حل دوره فى الترقية أو بلغ سن معاش رتبته قبل
ذلك ، يحال إلى المعاش برتبة عقيد بقوة القانون .
