تشمل القوات المسلحة أيضا القوات الإضافية الآتية :
١ - قوات الاحتياط .
٢ - الاحتياط التكميلى (الضباط والأفراد المكلفون) .
٣ - قوات الدفاع الشعبى والعسكرى .
٤ - القوات الأخرى التى تقتضى الضرورة إنشاءها بعد موافقة المجلس الأعلى للقوات المسلحة وتصديق رئيس الجمهورية .
