Article 148 of the Armed Forces Officers Service and Promotion Law

استثناء من حكم المادتين ٣٥ ، ٣٦ تكون خدمة
العقيد والعميد ثلاث سنوات فى الكادرات التى تنتهى بإحدى هاتين الرتبتين
ويجوز مدها مدة أقصاها سنتين بقرار من القائد العام للقوات المسلحة
أما فى الكادرات التى تنتهى خدمة الضابط فيها برتبة مقدم فأقل فتنتهى
خدمته عند حلول الدور فى الترقية لرتبة أعلى .
وفى كلتا الحالتين السابقتين يحال الضابط الى المعاش بقوة القانون .
