للبنك المركزى أن يتعهد بتوفير العملات الأجنبية لسداد التمويل والتسهيلات الائتمانية التى تحصل عليها البنوك أو الأشخاص الاعتبارية العامة من البنوك والمؤسسات المالية والهيئات الأجنبية والدولية ، وذلك طبقا للشروط والقواعد التى يقرها مجلس الإدارة .
