إذا فتح الاعتماد لمدة معينة فلا يجوز للبنك إلغاؤه قبل انقضاء هذه المدة إلا فى حالة وفاة المستفيد أو الحجر عليه أو توقفه عن الدفع ولو لم يصدر حكم بشهر إفلاسه أو صدور خطأ جسيم منه فى استعمال الاعتماد .
