١ - إذا فتح الاعتماد لمدة غير معينة جاز للبنك إلغاؤه فى كل وقت ، شرط إخطار المستفيد قبل الميعاد الذى يعينه البنك للإلغاء بعشرة أيام على الأقل ما لم يتم الاتفاق على غير ذلك .
٢ - وفى جميع الأحوال يعتبر الاعتماد المفتوح لمدة غير معينة ملغيا بانقضاء ستة أشهر من تاريخ إخطار المستفيد بفتحه دون أن يستعمله .
