يستبدل بعبارة هيئة كهرباء مصر أينما ورد ذكرها عبارة "الشركة القابضة لكهرباء مصر".
ويسرى على الشركة أحكام قانون شركات المساهمة وشركات التوصية بالأسهم والشركات ذات المسئولية المحدودة الصادر بالقانون رقم 159 لسنة 1981، وقانون سوق رأس المال الصادر بالقانون رقم 95 لسنة 1992، وذلك فيما لم يرد بشأنه نص خاص فى هذا القانون، والمادتان (2، 7) والمادة (11) (عدا البند 11 منها) من القانون رقم 12 لسنة 1976 بإنشاء هيئة كهرباء مصر والقانون رقم 18 لسنة 1998 ببعض الأحكام الخاصة بشركات توزيع الكهرباء ومحطات التوليد وشبكات النقل وبتعديل بعض أحكام القانون رقم 12 لسنة 1976
