Article 7 of the Egyptian National Railways Authority Law

تعد منشآت الهيئة القومية لسكك حديد مصر ومبانيها الخاصة بالتشغيل وخطوط السكك الحديدية وحرمها والمزلقانات من الأموال العامة المملوكة للدولة ، كما تعد من المرافق العامة المخصصة للنفع العام . ولا يجوز التصرف فيها أو الحجز عليها أو تملكها أو كسب أى حق عينى عليها بالتقادم .
ويحدد حرم السكك الحديدية والمزلقانات بقرار من وزير النقل مع مراعاة أحكام القانون رقم ١٠ لسنة ١٩٩٠ بشأن نزع ملكية العقارات للمنفعة العامة .
