يجوز لوزير الدفاع وقف نقل المجندين الى الاحتياط بقرار منه في حالة الحرب أو التعبئة أو الطوارىء ، وتطبق عليهم في هذه الحالة جميع أحكام القوانين والقرارات والنظم الخاصة بأفراد الاحتياط اعتبارا من التاريخ المحدد لنقلهم الى الاحتياط .
كما يجوز لوزير الدفاع عند الاقتضاء أن يقرر نقل دفعة مجندين الى الاحتياط قبل حلول موعدها .
