تنتهى مدة الخدمة العسكرية الالزامية العاملة بالنقل الى الاحتياط ويجرى هذا النقل سنويا على دفعات يقررها وزير الدفاع .
وينقل كل مجند الى الاحتياط في أول دفعة يحل موعدها بعد انقضاء المدة المقررة لخدمته .
كما تنتهى الخدمة العسكرية الالزامية العاملة أو الخدمة في الاحتياط وفقا للحالات المنصوص عليها في قانون شروط الخدمة والترقى لضباط الشرف والمساعدين وضباط الصف والجنود بالقوات المسلحة .
