يضع وزير الداخلية بعد أخذ رأى المجلس الأعلى للشرطة نظاما للحوافز، وله تقرير مكافآت تشجيعية للضابط الذى يقدم خدمات ممتازة أو أعمالا أو بحوثا أو اقتراحات جدية تساعد على تحسين طرق العمل ورفع كفاءة الأداء، كما يجوز منح مكافآت مالية عن أداء أعمال ممتازة.
وللمجلس الأعلى للشرطة اقتراح منح الضابط أوسمة أو أنواطا لأعمال ممتازة.
