أعضاء هيئة التدريس فى الجامعة هم:
( أ ) الأساتذة.
(ب) الأساتذة المساعدون.
(ج) المدرسون.
وتحدد اللائحة التنفيذية لهذا القانون شروط تعيينهم ونقلهم وندبهم وإعارتهم وإجازاتهم العلمية والاعتيادية والمرضية وغير ذلك من شئونهم الوظيفية كما تحدد اللائحة واجباتهم والنظم التأديبية الخاصة بهم وجدول مرتباتهم.
