يعقد عمداء الكليات فى كل فرع من فروع جامعة الأزهر بالمحافظة اجتماعات دورية مرة على الأقل كل شهرين وكلما دعت الحاجة إلى ذلك للتنسيق بين نواحى النشاط والشئون الطلابية والتعليمية ونظم الامتحانات بكلياتهم واقتراح أساليب تنفيذ توصيات مجلس الجامعة وتوصيات المؤتمرات العلمية وتقييم نظم الدراسة والامتحانات ويتولى الدعوى لهذه الاجتماعات ورئاستها أقدم عمداء الكليات فى الفرع.
