مع عدم الإخلال بأحكام القانون رقم ٤٥ لسنة ٢٠١٤ بإصدار قانون بتنظيم مباشرة الحقوق السياسية ، تتخذ الجهات المختصة الإجراءات الخاصة بعمليات الترشح والتصويت في الانتخابات والاستفتاءات بجميع أنواعها والأدوات الكفيلة بإتاحة وتيسير مشاركة الأشخاص ذوى الإعاقة في هذه العمليات ، بما في ذلك الحق في الاستعانة عند الاقتضاء بمرافقين أو مساعدين يختارهم هؤلاء الأشخاص .
