تلتزم الجهات الإدارية المختصة بشئون التخطيط والتنظيم والجهات المبينة فى قانون البناء الصادر بالقانون رقم ١١٩ لسنة ٢٠٠٨ عند إصدار تراخيص المبانى الجديدة باشتراطات الكود الهندسى المصرى لتصميم الفراغات الخارجية والمبانى لاستخدام الأشخاص ذوى الإعاقة وبتهيئة المنشآت القائمة بما يضمن لهم سهولة استخدام المنشآت والأبنية العامة والخاصة . وتبين اللائحة التنفيذية لهذا القانون أشكال هذه التيسيرات وطرق تقديمها وضوابط وإجراءات ذلك .
