يتبع أمام محاكم الأسرة ودوائرها الاستئنافية القواعد والإجراءات المقررة فى هذا القانون ، وفى قانون تنظيم بعض أوضاع وإجراءات التقاضى فى مسائل الأحوال الشخصية المشار إليه ، وتطبق فيما لم يرد به نص خاص فيهما أحكام قانون المرافعات المدنية والتجارية وأحكام قانون الإثبات فى المواد المدنية والتجارية ، وأحكام القانون المدنى فى شأن إدارة وتصفية التركات .
