Article 18 of the Weights and Measures Law

يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز ستة أشهر وبغرامة لا تقل عن خمسين جنيها ولا تجاوز مائتى جنيه أو بإحدى هاتين العقوبتين كل من خالف أحكام إحدى المادتين 15 أو 16 أو القرارات المنفذة لهما.
وفى جميع الأحوال يحكم بمصادرة أجهزة وآلات وأدوات الوزن أو القياس أو الكيل المضبوطة.
