يعين وزير الداخلية محل تنفيذ عقوبة الوضع تحت مراقبة الشرطة بديوان القسم أو المركز أو نقطة الشرطة أو بمقر العمودية، أو بأي مكان آخر يتخذ كمحل إقامة للمراقب خارج دائرة المحافظة أو المديرية التي وقعت فيها الجريمة.
ويجوز لمدير الأمن قبول طلب المحكوم عليه تنفيذ عقوبة المراقبة في الجهة التي يقيم بها، وذلك بعد التحقق من توافر الضمانات الكافية لتنفيذ العقوبة، وعدم وجود خطر على حياة المحكوم عليه.
