على المراقب أن يتخذ له سكنا فى الجهة المعينة لمراقبته فاذا عجز أو امتنع عن ذلك أو اتخذ سكنا يرى مكتب البوليس أنه تتعذر مراقبته فيه عين له مكانا يأوى اليه ليلا. ويجوز أن يكون هذا المكان ديوان المركز أو القسم أو نقطة البوليس أو مقر العمدية.
