كل مخالفة لأحكام المادة 37 يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تزيد على ثلاثة أشهر وبغرامة من خمسة جنيهات إلى خمسين جنيها أو بأحدى هاتين العقوبتين وتقضى المحكمة دائما بغرامة قدرها جنيه واحد عن كل قنطار من القطن الزهر لم يتم حلجه فى الموعد المحدد.
