يتقادم الحق في المطالبة برسم الدمغة المستحق طبقا لأحكام المادة ( ٤٥ ) بمضي خمس سنوات من يوم تقديم أو استعمال العقود أو الرسم أو الصورة أو المحرر الخاضع للرسم ويقطع هذا التقادم بالمطالبة بأداء الرسم بكتاب موصى عليه بعلم الوصول ويسقط الحق في استرداد الرسم المحصل بدون وجه حق بمضي سنة من تاريخ أدائه ولا يقبل طلب رد قيمة الطوابع الملصقة بأي حال من الأحوال .
