Article 343 of the Maritime Trade Law

(١) تكون وثيقة التأمين باسم المؤمن له أو لأمره أو لحاملها.
(٢) ويجوز إبرام التأمين لمصلحة شخص غير معين.
(٣) ويكون لحامل الوثيقة الشرعي الحق في المطالبة بالتعويض وللمؤمن أن يحتج في مواجهته بالدفوع التى يجوز له توجيهها إلى المتعاقد ولو كانت وثيقة التأمين محررة لأمره أو لحاملها.
