Article 236 of the Maritime Trade Law

يقع باطلا كل اتفاق يتم قبل وقوع الحادث الذي
نشأ عنه الضرر ويكون موضوعه أحد الأمور الآتية:
(أ) إعفاء الناقل من المسئولية عن هلاك البضائع أو تلفها.
(ب) تعديل عبء الإثبات الذي يضعه القانون على عاتق
الناقل.
(ج) تحديد مسئولية الناقل بأقل مما هو منصوص عليه في
(الفقرة ١) من المادة ٢٣٣ من هذا القانون.
(د) النزول للناقل عن الحقوق الناشئة عن التأمين على البضائع
أو أي اتفاق آخر مماثل.
