يلتزم المؤجر بأن يضع السفينة تحت تصرف
المستأجر فى الزمان والمكان المتفق عليهما، وفى حالة صالحة للملاحة
ومجهزة بما يلزم لتنفيذ الرحلة أو الرحلات المنصوص عليها في عقد
الإيجار، كما يلتزم بإبقاء السفينة على هذه الحالة طوال مدة الرحلة
أو الرحلات والقيام بكل ما يتوقف عليه تنفيذها
