(١) لمؤجر السفينة حق حبس البضائع الموجودة على
السفينة والمملوكة للمستأجر لاستيفاء الأجرة المستحقة له وملحقاتها،
ما لم تقدم له كفالة يقدرها قاضي الأمور الوقتية.
(٢) ويأمر القاضي - في حالة استعمال حق الحبس - بإخراج
البضائع من السفينة وإيداعها عند أمين يعينه، وله أن يأمر ببيعها أو
بيع جزء منها وفاء للأجرة وملحقاتها، ويعين ميعادا للبيع وكيفية إجرائه.
