Article 149 of the Maritime Trade Law

(١) يقوم المقاول البحرى بعمليات الشحن أو
التفريغ وبالعمليات الإضافية الأخرى لحساب من كلفه بالقيام بها،
ولا يسأل في هذا الشأن إلا قبل هذا الشخص الذى يكون له وحده
توجيه الدعوى إليه.
(٢) وإذا كان الناقل هو الذى عهد إلى المقاول البحرى بالقيام
بالعمل بناء على تعليمات من صاحب الشأن أو بناء على شرط في سند
الشحن أو في عقد إيجار السفينة، وجب على الناقل إخطار المقاول
البحرى بذلك.
