Article 119 of the Maritime Trade Law

(١) يلتزم رب العمل بأداء أجور البحارة في
الزمان والمكان المعينين في العقد أو اللذين يقضي بهما العرف البحري.
(٢) ويكون تعيين الحد الأدنى لأجور ومرتبات البحارة بالسفن
المصرية، كما يكون تعيين علاواتهم وبدلاتهم ومكافآتهم وكيفية أدائها
وترقياتهم وإجازاتهم بقرار يصدر من الوزير المختص .
