على الصحفى تحت التمرين أن يمضى مدة التمرين فى إحدى دور الصحف التى تصدر فى الجمهورية العربية المتحدة أو وكالة من وكالات الأنباء التى تعمل فيها . ويجوز بترخيص خاص من مجلس النقابة قضاء مدة التمرين فى الصحف ووكالات الأنباء فى الخارج .
