مدة التمرين سنة لخريجى أقسام الصحافة فى الجامعات والمعاهد العليا المعترف بها ، وسنتان لخريجى باقى الكليات والمعاهد العليا المعترف بها ، وتبدأ مدة التمرين من تاريخ القيد فى جدول الصحفيين تحت التمرين ، وتحدد اللائحة الداخلية إجراءات القيد تحت التمرين .
