يجوز للطبيب النفسي المسئول أن يمد فترة الدخول الإلزامي المنصوص عليها في المادة السابقة
إلى مدة أقصاها سبعة أيام وذلك إذا استمرت المبررات المنصوص عليها في المادة (١٣)
من هذا القانون ولم يكن في الإمكان الحصول على التقييم الطبي المستقل خلال الثلاثة
الأيام الأولى من الدخول الإلزامي مع إخطار الجهات المشار إليها في المادة السابقة.
